How to learn English quickly
So you want to learn and improve your English, however, you simply do not have enough time in your day to do so.
What are you doing each day to improve your English? It's your daily habits that make the biggest difference - not what you do 1 x a week. If you can set aside 15 minutes everyday, it won’t be long before you notice a big difference.
Here are some quick tips to accelerate your language;
Create English immersion everyday
When you wake up - listen to English music, podcasts, youtube, etc - read newspapers, books, internet artricles, anything! When you’re your way to work, make the most of time in anyway you can! Whilst your cooking, put on an English radio station. You get the idea, there are many moments in your day where it’s easy to incorporate English.
Reading out-loud
Many of my student's don't have the chance to practice speaking English everyday, but everyone can practice reading out-loud. Don’t worry if your pronunciation isn’t perfect, it’s good practice just to speak.
Watch Netflix with English subtitles
You can switch between listening to the audio in your native language and reading English subtitles and also listening in English with subtitles in your native language. This way you can improve both your reading, listening and understand.
Learn English to communicate – not to be grammatically perfect
Focus on communicating and using English in your daily life, instead of studying verb tenses religiously. Many student’s I’ve taught have excellent writing and reading skills, because they are great at studying – but when it comes to speaking they freeze up. Don’t get trapped into thinking you need to spend more time studying English before speaking, you can start straight away with the English you have!
